It does seem though whatever school you attend and if you go to a new one, most credits don't transfer anyway,. I wish everyone luck in what they choose to do 128543e

| 2. Written by Roger on December 30, 2011 from halifax, nova scotia, CA I will be graduating Next month with an AAS in Criminology from Ashworth as well. Now thankfully I only enrolled for personal gain, basically to complete my degree. I checked well in advance, and degrees from DETC schools such as Ashworth or online schools such as Phoenix hold little weight with employers especially in the criminal justice field. Now thankfully I have been in the field some quite some time and didn’t require the degree for employment, but as a case and point I inquired and a current applicant would not get hired with a degree from Ashworth, and would be put the back of the list for regionally accredited online schools such as UOP. If you’re trying to get into the field, enrol in a good community college, or regionally accredited state college. |
